Temporary traffic diversion
Hubballi: Police have said that there will be a temporary traffic diversion on May 28, to ensure smooth traffic flow amid Bakrid celebrations on Thursday.In a press note, police said that the temporary diversion of vehicles will be between 7am and noon. KSRTC buses coming from Gadag side and the railway station side should stop at Pinto Circle point, disembark the public there and return via Gadag Road. Other light vehicles coming from the railway station side should pass through Pinto Circle via Desai Cross and then through Cotton Market to reach Hosur Cross.Vehicles have been prohibited from plying around Chennamma Circle. Heavy vehicles have been prohibited from entering the city.KSRTC buses coming from Navalgund road will stop at Sarvodaya Circle, disembark the passengers and proceed back towards Navalgund. Light vehicles coming from Pinto Circle will be diverted via Cotton Market and sent towards Hosur Circle. Vehicles coming from Desai Cross from Cotton Market will be diverted towards Navalgund.Vehicles coming from Karwar Road will be allowed to enter Hosur Circle from Karwar Road Plaza via Tarihal via Gokul Road and then proceed towards Navalgund or Gadag via Dharwad or Bhagat Singh Cross.
Vehicles coming from Bangalore and Gabbur towards Dharwad will be allowed to take the bypass and then go to the new bus stand via Tarihal bypass via Gokul Road.Chigari buses plying between Hubli and Dharwad will be allowed to take a right turn from Hosur Circle, ACP office cross, Uttara Sanchar police station and then take the Lakshmi Way Bridge, Shanabhag circle, Girani Chal Road via Girani Chal Cross, MT Milla, Vani Vilas Circle, Hosur Circle and then back to Dharwad.
