BJP members visit police station, laud action by policemen
State BJP president Adesh Gupta, Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and MP Hansraj Hans visited the Jahangirpuri police station on Sunday and inquired about the well-being of the eight police officers injured in the violence that took place in the area a day ago. The party said in a statement that the leaders met the deputy commissioner of police, took stock of the prevailing situation and were assured that those behind the incident wouldn’t be spared.
