SHO Vinod Kumar of Sadar police station, Jhajjar, confirmed the incident. "The accused has been identified as the victim's son. He is currently on the run, but we expect to apprehend him soon. The victim is stable and out of danger," said the SHO.Ishwar Singh joined the Delhi Police as a constable on April 30, 1981, and took voluntary retirement (VRS) in 2010.The incident has sent shockwaves across the region, raising serious concerns about intensifying intra-family property disputes and access to firearms.
