Parcels containing drugs seized in Bengaluru, two arrested

Bengaluru: In two anti-drug operations, Central Crime Branch (CCB) and JB Nagar police arrested two interstate peddlers, seized narcotics and launched a hunt for international traffickers involved in smuggling contraband into the city.In the first operation, officials of CCB’s Narcotics Control Unit received information from Customs officials that suspicious parcels containing narcotic substances had arrived at the International Post Office on May 21. They conducted a raid and seized three parcels containing 3kg of hydro ganja, smuggled from abroad.On May 22, JB Nagar police seized MDMA and ganja sold from a Kerala-registered car on Tunnel Road and arrested two peddlers.
