Supreme Court Refuses To Quash CBI Case Against Lalu Yadav In Land-For-Jobs Scam, Trial To Continue

The Supreme Court of India has refused to quash the CBI FIR and chargesheets against Lalu Prasad Yadav in the land-for-jobs case, clearing the way for trial proceedings. The court rejected arguments based on Section 17A, noting that the alleged offences predate the law, and said the issue can be raised during trial.
