British prime minister Keir Starmer reiterated that his country would not be dragged into the Iran war- whatever the 'pressure' or 'noise. Starmer's response comes a day after US president Donald Trump criticised his NATO allies for not helping him secure the Strait of Hormuz. In his address, Starmer said he would act in the British national interest in all the decision he makes. Earlier, a UK media outlet reported that Donald Trump had said he was 'strongly considering' quitting NATO. Trump has also singled out Starmer for intense criticism over Iran, for only offering to send aircraft carriers after the Iran war was 'won'.
