Iran Executes Man Accused Of CIA Links In Yet Another Action Against Alleged Spies

Iran says Erfan Shakourzadeh was executed after being convicted of spying for the CIA and Mossad and allegedly passing classified scientific information linked to satellite projects. Iranian judiciary-linked media said the sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court before being carried out Monday. Tehran claims the accused established contact with Israeli intelligence first before later attempting to connect with the CIA. The case has once again highlighted the deepening shadow war between Iran, Israel, and the United States, where accusations of sabotage, espionage, cyber operations, and infiltration targeting Iran’s military and scientific infrastructure continue to intensify.
