NCERT is facing criticism after failing to provide revised Class 9 Hindi medium Mathematics and science textbooks, even in PDF format, nearly two months into the academic session. Teachers say the delay has disrupted classes, forced translation-based teaching and created confusion over syllabus changes. Students entering summer vacation from May 23, 2026 remain without essential study material ahead of July unit tests and September half-yearly exams. Teachers and parents have questioned NCERT’s preparedness and treatment of Hindi medium students.

IIIT-B admissions 2026: The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) has opened applications for its B.Tech and five-year Integrated M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2026–27 through a common application process. The institute is offering courses in Computer science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data science. IIIT-B stated that admissions will not be conducted through JoSAA. The programmes are designed to combine academic learning, research exposure, and industry engagement across emerging technology domains.
