The Centre is favourably inclined to set up the cauvery management board (CMB) which will have power to take decision on sharing river water among riparian states, but it will not rush with the matter before consulting all the stakeholders.

Opposition parties led by the DMK will hold a dawn to dusk bandh in Tamil Nadu on April 5 to protest against the Centre's delaying tactics in setting up a cauvery management board.
