Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was released this Thursday; he played the titular role in the film, which reportedly opened to disastrous collections at the box office. The film tried to unfold the outlook of India’s history through the perspective of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, who, as a dim-witted man with a great understanding of emotions, narrated his story, which opened to mixed reviews.

'Laal Singh Chaddha,' directed by Advait Chandan and starring Aamir Khan will be released on August 11. While the film's Hindi trailer was released earlier, the Telugu trailer was released on Sunday (July 24) by megastar Chiranjeevi, and the response has been phenomenal. It is an official remake of Hollywood's 'Forrest Gump'.

Sarkar, known for her work in films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' collaborated with Khan on various projects. Aamir also discussed the disappointment of 'Laal Singh Chaddha' on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' and its impact on him.
