Google expands AI music tool with Lyria 3 Pro, allows users to create 3 minute long tracks

Google has launched Lyria 3 Pro, an advanced version of its AI music generation tool, enabling users to create tracks up to three minutes long. The feature builds on Lyria 3, which was announced last month and supports 30-second clips. The new model aims to give users more control over music creation. With the new update, users can generate full-length tracks with elements such as intros, verses, and choruses. The rollout has started globally and will be available across select business, enterprise, and consumer plans.Announcing the Lyria 3 Pro AI music tool, Google said “Lyria 3 Pro better understands musical composition, so users can now prompt for specific elements like intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. It’s great for experimenting with different styles or adding custom tracks to projects, presentations, or assets.”Lyria 3 Pro music generation in Gemini is currently available globally in English, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French for users over the age of 18.
