Plenty of oohs and ahhs in that over, especially by the keeper, Kyle Verreynne. There was absolutely nothing happening, but all these are tactics, just to keep the batters nervous. Another issue with the sightscreen, this time for Mathews. Sorted now.

DRINKS BREAK. Well, wickets have not fallen but it has been an exciting start for the Lankans with the bat nevertheless. Chasing 516, they are flying at almost 5 runs an over, trying to be positive. South Africa probably have been a bit desperate in trying to get breakthroughs, already burning out 2 out of their 3 allotted reviews pretty early. The bowling has been good, but there is some lack of discipline. 22 overs are left in the day, but doubt whether we will be able to get all of those in. It is certainly not as bright today as it was yesterday. Keshav Maharaj is warming up. So either he is trying to influence his captain to give him the ball or Temba Bavuma has asked him to be ready. Was not required at all in the first innings. Here he comes now.
Marco Jansen to Dinesh Chandimal, A beauty to end the over! Bowls it just outside off, on a length and gets it to straighten back with some extra bounce off the deck. Dinesh Chandimal has a feel for it but gets beaten on the outside edge.

Another stoppage. The sightscreen is giving issues to both, Chandimal and Mathews. The problem is, the screen is black and with the red ball, it is causing a problem. There is a white cloth which is there to be draped, but every now and then, the ground staff keeps forgetting to drape it over the black screen.

Gerald Coetzee to Angelo Mathews, Fuller, around off, pushed down the ground.
It is another thing that South Africa bowled with venom in the first innings and are still bowling with fire here, but something needs to be done about their discipline. They bowled 4 no balls in under 14 overs in the first innings while so far, they have already bowled 4 in roughly the same number of overs. Don't want to be in a position where you put in all the hard work, get the wicket, only for it to be overturned due to overstepping. Kagiso Rabada got that sting against Pathum Nissanka but luckily for his team, it did not matter much. But it cannot be spreading like an epidemic. Jansen in the first innings, Rabada now.

It has become slightly cloudy in the last few minutes. Yesterday was a cloudless day, with plenty of bright sunshine, but today, it seems like there are a few clouds in the sky. Potentially, we have around 90 minutes to go for the day, but Mike Haysman on air is not sure we can carry on till then, as it usually gets dark from 3 pm GMT.
