Pakistan vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 highlights: New Zealand outclassed defending champions Pakistan by 60 runs in the Champions Trophy opener on Wednesday. After being put in to bat, New Zealand posted a commanding 320 for five, powered by centuries from Will Young (107) and Tom Latham (118*), along with a quickfire 61 off 39 balls from Glenn Phillips.In response, Pakistan were bowled out for 260, despite fighting knocks from Babar Azam (64) and Khushdil Shah (69). Salman Agha contributed a brisk 42 off 28 balls, but it wasn’t enough to steer Pakistan to victory.Will O’Rourke was the pick of the bowlers for New Zealand, finishing with figures of 3/47.
