PITCH REPORT - Michael Atherton describes the conditions as very toasty, with temperatures touching a high of 34 degrees. Shares that there is a slight cooling breeze offering a bit of relief out in the middle. Informs that the square boundaries measure 65 metres and 64 metres, with 75 metres straight down the ground. Preston Mommsen joins him, and he mentions that this is the same wicket on which England played West Indies last night and in that game, spinners had a major say. Considering the heat and the dry nature of the surface, Preston reckons that spinners will play a key role. Atherton further says that last night, Adil Rashid managed to get the ball to turn significantly, both with his leg-breaks and his googlies. He adds that the Wankhede Stadium has produced more turn in this World Cup than any other venue so far.
