The skipper of Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya, says that it looks like a very good track. He feels it’s a good toss to lose as he wasn’t sure of what to do, so they don’t mind batting first and they would be looking to put on a big total on the board. He tells that a lot of results have gone their way and it’s a great opportunity to play good cricket and they will be looking to play this one as a knockout game. He mentions they have made one change as Ashwani Kumar comes in.
The captain of Punjab Kings, Shreyas Iyer, says that he lets the actions speak more than the words and that he would just give some sort of motivation, but it is their job to go out and execute. Adds that you can't just take it as another day, as you have to keep updating your mind and game to put the best foot forward. Says there's hardly any scope for errors at this stage.
