If the predictions are proved right today, a huge setback is in store for Congress and its scam-tainted chief minister, Virbhadra Singh.

Exit polls have unanimously projected a BJP win in Gujarat where the party is seen to be winning anywhere between 99-146 seats, comfortably crossing the majority mark of 92. Going by the exit poll predictions, the BJP is all set to return for the fifth time in PM Modi's home state.
An exit poll by TOI Online-CVoter has predicted 111 seats for the BJP and 71 for the Congress. In Himachal, the survey predicts 41 seats for the BJP and 25 for the Congress. The others may win two seats. While the majority mark in Gujarat is 92, in Himachal it is 35.
