Debra assembly election results 2026: BJP’s Subhashis Om defeats TMC’s Rajib Banerjee

In the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026, Subhashis Om of the Bharatiya Janata Party registered a comfortable victory in Debra (Assembly Constituency 229), defeating TMC candidate Rajib Banerjee by a margin of 28,801 votes.Om secured 1,14,463 votes after all 18 rounds of counting, while Banerjee polled 85,662 votes.Debra in Paschim Medinipur district is currently represented by Humayun Kabir of the All India Trinamool Congress in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
