Diwali 2024 Live: The “shubh muhurat” for the Lakshmi-Ganesh puja will be observed from 6:27 PM to 8:23 PM on Thursday. Known as Deepavali, the festival of lights symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and joy over despair. This tradition continues to thrive today.
According to Acharya Satyendra Maharaj, the chief priest of the Ayodhya Ram temple, Badi Diwali will be celebrated on October 31. On Deepawali, devotees worship Maa Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh, and Lord Kuber, seeking their blessings for prosperity and well-being.
