Director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming action entertainer ‘Slumdog: 33 Temple Road,’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu in the leading roles is currently in production. Recently, the team shared an update on the film. In the latest social media post, the maker revealed that the film's post-production work is in process.

Makers share behind-the-scenes update

The makers took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share pictures of filmmaker Puri Jagannadh and music composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar working behind the scenes. Along with the pictures, the makers wrote, “#SLUMDOG - 33 Temple Road. Post-production and re-recording works are progressing at a blistering pace. Get ready for a sensational musical experience from the explosive combo of Dashing Director #PuriJagannadh and @rameemusic. More striking updates rolling out soon. Talking about the film, it also includes Samyuktha, Duniya Vijay Kumar, Brahmanandam and VTV Ganesh as part of the cast.Vijay Sethupathi praises Puri JagannadhEarlier, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about the director on his social media handle after completing 26 years in the industry.
He said working with Puri Jagannadh was a great experience and also added that he believes ‘Slum Dog’ will be remembered as a very special film. He feels the film has something unique and meaningful for everyone involved.In his post, he wrote, “Dear Puri sir, it was an absolute pleasure working with you on #SLUMDOG – 33 Temple Road. As actors, we always look for directors who trust us and push us beyond our comfort zones and you do that effortlessly. I believe this will be remembered as a very special film for all of us involved.”The film is expected to hit theatres in June and is slated for release in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
