CUET 2022 Result LIVE Updates: Results available at cuet.samarth.ac.in, Know merit list, cut-off, Admission details

The Common University Entrance Test was conducted from July 15 to August 30. The National Testing Agency will announce the final answer key today, on September 15 on the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in

The entrance exam was held in 547 cities within India and in 13 cities outside India - Sri Lanka Qatar, Doha, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and Singapore.

The sixth and final phases of CUET UG 2022 concluded on August 30. The first phase of the examination was held on May 15. Around 14.90 lakh candidates have registered for all the six phases of the examination and around 60 per cent of them appeared for it.

On the basis of the result of CUET UG, various universities and colleges will prepare their cut-off list. Based on the cut-off list, students will get admission in the colleges. Students who want to be a part of various undergraduate courses have appeared for the said examination.

After the declaration of the CUET (UG) - 2022 result by NTA, the respective Central Universities will declare the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (UG) - 2022 score and the other criteria of the respective University. Admissions are handled at the level of each of the CUs for their respective programmes.

The result for CUET (UG) - 2022 will be processed based on the Final Answer Keys. No grievance with regard to Answer Key(s) after the Declaration of Result of CUET (UG) -2022 will be entertained by NTA. There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained by the Agency.

No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their Score Cards for CUET (UG) - 2022 from the website: https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.

a) For multi-shift papers, raw (actual) marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.

b) The detailed procedure for the compilation of the NTA Score is available on NTA Website.

c) The NTA Score of CUET (UG) – 2022 is valid for admission to the academic year 2022- 23 only.

For Multiple Choice Questions: To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:

(i) Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)

(ii) Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

(iii) Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).

(iv) If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

(v) If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

(vi) If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks(+5) marks.

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programmes.

For admission to Universities through CUET (UG) - 2022, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

Merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the score card of CUET (UG)-2022 provided by NTA.

"Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) results will be announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) by around 10:00 pm tonight, said M Jagadesh Kumar, UGC chairman.

Jamia Millia Islamia has decided to implement the CUET for admission in many undergraduate courses from the academic session 2022-23. The university has also informed the UGC and National Testing Agency (NTA) about this.

Like previous years, St. Stephen's College of Delhi University wanted to include interviews in the admission process this year too. However, the Delhi High Court has told St. Stephen's College that it will have to follow the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Delhi University has also clarified that it will not recognise the admissions taken by St. Stephen's College in case of non-compliance of CUET procedure.

Students will get a 21-day window to apply for their desired undergraduate programmes at Delhi University. It may be noted that there will be no offline filling up of the CSAS-2022 application form.
