Visakhapatnam gripped by horror: Navy employee confesses after gruesome domestic murder case

A gruesome murder in Gajuwaka area of Vizag city shocked residents after a Navy employee was arrested. The incident occurred at LV Nagar under Gajuwaka police station limits on Sunday night.

Police said the victim was called to the accused’s residence where a dispute broke out. The incident occurred following an argument at the flat in LV Nagar area.

Police said the victim allegedly demanded money over time and received around ₹3.5 lakh. It was also alleged she threatened to expose their relationship to the accused’s wife.

The accused was arrested by police and is being sent for judicial remand. Authorities are continuing detailed investigation into the case.

Police said the accused attempted to conceal the crime after the incident. Further investigation is underway into the sequence of events.

Investigations revealed the accused and victim met through a dating app in 2021 and developed a relationship. They continued to meet at different locations across Vizag over time.

Police said the victim allegedly demanded money and received around Rs 3.5 lakh. It was also alleged she threatened to disclose their relationship to the accused’s wife.
