Vijayawada: Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has underlined the pivotal role played by youth in his political journey, expressing gratitude to thousands of young supporters who have stood by him over the years. In a message posted on social media platform X, the Jana Sena chief reflected on his association with youth movements dating back to 2008, when efforts were made to build a strong youth wing, 'Yuvrajyam’, under the Praja Rajyam Party. He said the vision was to encourage young people to actively participate in public life and contribute to social and political change.Recalling the 12-year journey of Jana Sena, Pawan said the organisation overcame numerous challenges and hardships. He noted that party workers gained valuable experience and maturity during this period and were now capable of taking on organisational responsibilities, engaging in public service and addressing people’s issues effectively. The Jana Sena chief conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Telangana Yuvrajyam youth wing and extended special thanks to the young men and women who believed in him and supported him since 2005. He pledged to continue working towards nurturing honest, committed and patriotic youth leaders capable of serving the nation.
Pawan said the emergence of dynamic leaders from the Gen Z generation reflects the changing aspirations of New India. “Today’s youth are increasingly disillusioned with appeasement politics, dynastic rule, caste-based politics, divisive agendas and regionalism. Instead, they are looking for leaders who can ensure transparency, accountability and good governance,” he added.Asserting that the younger generation wants a strong and resilient India that can command respect on the global stage, he said the party’s youth wing is eager to support leadership that prioritizes national development, integrity and responsible governance, adding that empowering youth remains one of his key political goals.
