Vadodara: A series of road accidents were reported across Dahod district on Tuesday night, leaving several people injured, though no fatalities were reported by Wednesday evening.
A bus travelling from Surat to Thandla in Madhya Pradesh overturned near Dhamarda after the driver lost control, injuring around 10 passengers who were rushed to a hospital in Dahod.
In a separate incident near Gamla village of Dahod taluka, a car fell into the Patadungri canal. Five people, including four children, were rescued and the vehicle was later pulled out using a crane.
A truck carrying empty plastic crates from Rajasthan to MP collided with a highway divider near Patiazol village in Garbada taluka, reportedly after the driver lost control.
Near Asaydi village in Devgadh Baria taluka, a car caught fire on the highway. The occupants escaped safely, and the Devgadh Baria fire brigade brought the blaze under control.
