SSLC exam results on May 15, HSS on May 22

T'puram: General education minister V Sivankutty said on Tuesday that this year's SSLC and higher secondary exam results will be published on May 15 and May 22. He said revaluation applications will be invited soon after the results are announced and SSLC revaluation results will be available by May-end. He said the department has issued instructions to take action against over 2,000 teachers who skipped paper valuation duty.He also said the second-chance exam for students, who failed to secure minimum marks in the annual exams, was completed on April 27. He said subject minimum has been reintroduced in govt and aided schools to address the decline in academic standards. He added that the promotion list of students who appeared for the retest will be published on May 2.
