3 months after soldier’s death, wife blessed with baby girl

Dhanbad: The family of 28-year-old soldier Rambabu Singh, who died in Jammu & Kashmir in May, has finally found some solace as his wife Kumari Anjali gave birth to a baby girl on August 21 in Dhanbad, reports Sharad Chandra.Singh died on May 12 while on duty in the Jammu sector. He often dreamt of having a daughter. His wife Anjali said, "The birth of the girl child fulfilled his wish, though he could not be present to celebrate the moment." "Rambabu always said he wanted a daughter who would be brave like him. Before leaving for duty, he even predicted that we would be blessed with a girl and promised that after returning, we would celebrate together. That day never came," recalled Anjali, her voice heavy with emotion.
