Mumbai: Mumbai’s peak power demand touched 4,500 MW on Monday, as rising temperatures and humidity drove heavier use of fans and air-conditioners.Across Maharashtra, the peak demand crossed 31,000 MW, underlining the growing pressure on the power network during the summer month.This month, Mumbai recorded its highest-ever peak power demand of 4,540 MW on May 11.
