For Phulera, fate of candidates is sealed in 258 EVMs, for Sanganer in 278, Jhotwara 337 EVMs, Hawa Mahal 213 EVMs, Vidhyadhar Nagar 286 EVMs, Chomu 236 EVMs, Kishanpole 180 EVMs, Dudu 269 EVMs and Kotputli 228 EVMs.

The transgender community claimed that they have a population of one lakh in the state but they had been ignored. According to the election commission, there were 228 voters, who were registered in transgender category. As they boycotted elections, only 75 transgenders voted.

Transgender community alleged that all political parties had something for children, women and for other sections of the society but there was nothing for transgender community.

Out of 29 registered transgender voters, only nine of them had voted in Jaipur district. They were unhappy as the election commission failed to register many transgenders in electoral rolls.

Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot attended the Mahagatbandan meeting in Delhi during the day. He arrived in Jaipur late in the evening.

Confident of victory, Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sachin Pilot spent his day meeting party workers at the party office.

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje chose to rest at CM residence. Raje will head for Tripura Sundari temple in Banswara for special prayers in the Garbgraha which will start sharp at 8am, coinciding with the counting.

Candidates who contested Vidhan Sabha polls find it tough to take on the obvious nervousness and restlessness a day before results.

The traffic will not move from Gandhi Circle to Saras Flyover and instead be diverted from parallel roads.

There is going to be a 3-tier security at counting centres at Commerce College and Rajasthan College where counting will begin at 8 am.

In the current assembly, the BJP has 156 seats and the Congress 25. It is being touted as a direct fight between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress in about 130 seats. In the other seats, BSP, Bharat Vahini Party, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party and the rebels who are contesting may make the fight interesting against the official candidates of the Congress and BJP.

Out of the 35 counting centres in the state, Jaipur and Jodhpur will have two centres each. There will be just one centre in the rest of the 31 districts. The two counting centres in Jaipur will be in Rajasthan College and Commerce College.

In Jaipur 1,500 police personnel including the paramilitary force will be deployed.
