INDORE: Aavantika Gas, a joint venture company of Gail Gas and HPCL into the piped natural gas (PNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) supply, is all set to kick off service from next week. To begin with, the firm will supply PNG to 200 houses having registered connections in Kalani Nagar and Narayan Bagh areas. It will start supplying CNG soon after clearances from all government agencies and chief controller of explosives (Nagpur).
P Madan, managing director, Aavantika Gas, said, “Currently, cleaning of the pipeline is on. Once, the process is over, the line will be charged, finally paving the way for making the pipeline operational.”
Though we will begin supplying PNG to a few houses, we will go for a formal launch later on, he added.
Madan said damage to the pipeline at certain places by unidentified persons caused a delay in completion of preparatory work. Now, everything has been taken care of, he added. Apart from it, one mainline near Vanganga had got stuck.
