Mumbai Rains Live Updates: City crawls as heavy rain cripples normal life; bus, train & metro services hit
Mumbai Rains Live Updates: A red alert was issued by the IMD at 12.38 pm for Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad, warning of extremely heavy rains. Continuous downpours caused waterlogging, traffic jams, and train delays, especially in South Mumbai. Nariman Point recorded 104mm of rain between 9-10 am. Central Railway and Harbour Line trains faced disruptions due to flooded tracks, while Western Railway ran mostly normally. Roads saw bus diversions and closures. Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde will visit BMC’s Disaster Control Cell at 2 pm to review the situation. Meanwhile, Mumbai Metro Line-3 services are limited to Worli Station due to a technical issue. Stay with TOI for live updates.
