Times News NetworkBhopal: A 48-year-old man died allegedly by suicide at the residential campus of JP Hospital on Friday morning. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, police said.According to police, Jitendra Paswan, 48, lived in the JP Hospital residential area and had worked as a security guard. He had reportedly quit his job around 15 days ago. His wife, Seema, is an ANM posted at a health centre in Rehti.Police said Jitendra was alone at home on Friday morning while his wife and daughter were away. During this period, he allegedly hanged himself.The incident came to light when Jitendra’s brother-in-law repeatedly tried to contact him over phone. After receiving no response, he went to Jitendra’s residence and found him hanging. He immediately brought him down and rushed him to JP Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The body was later handed over to the family.Police said no suicide note was found and the reason behind the extreme step remains unclear. Notably, Friday was the birthday of Jitendra’s daughter. Further investigation is underway.
