PM Modi Urges Indians To Save Fuel As West Asia War Triggers Massive Oil Crisis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to use petrol, diesel and gas carefully amid the ongoing West Asia crisis and disruptions caused by the Strait of Hormuz blockade. Addressing an event in Hyderabad, Modi said reducing fuel consumption would save foreign exchange and limit the war’s economic impact on India. He also highlighted India’s push towards solar power, ethanol blending and CNG expansion. During the visit, Modi inaugurated infrastructure and industrial projects worth around ₹9,400 crore in Telangana, including India’s first fully functional PM MITRA textile park.
