Jordan Launches Airstrikes In Southern Syria Targeting Smuggling Networks | Watch

Jordan has carried out airstrikes inside southern Syria, targeting suspected drug and arms smuggling networks in the volatile province of Sweida. The strikes hit multiple locations, including areas near Shahba and Arman, with reports suggesting warehouses and facilities used by traffickers were destroyed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says at least one strike landed near a local security branch. Jordan says the operation was precise and aimed at protecting its borders from evolving smuggling threats, warning it will continue to act decisively against any risk to its sovereignty.
