Iran on Monday said it has targeted US warships with lethal drones, in the Sea of Oman. According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, the drone attacks were launched in retaliation for US action against an Iranian vessel earlier in the day. US forces intercepted and seized an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel Touska near the Strait of Hormuz - a critical global maritime chokepoint, blockaded by Tehran once again following the continued besiegement of Iranian ports by American forces despite a temporary truce.
