Raees Muhammad, the only member of the famous Muhammad brothers cricket family who couldn't play for Pakistan, passed away on Monday.

The PCB has found no evidence of match-fixing in the Asian Games cricket tournament match between the Pakistan A team and Afghanistan which the latter won unexpectedly to qualify for the final.

Sunil Gavaskar, now 75, received tributes from Pakistani legends for his influence on Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, and role in the 1977 series. Called the 'original batting don,' he significantly contributed to cricket in Sharjah and remains a notable commentator, admired alongside contemporaries like Bishen Singh Bedi. In addition to being a superb batsman, Miandad claimed that Gavaskar was also a good man. The two had played many matches against each other on the field.
