Disqualified AIADMK legislator P Vetrivel, who released a video of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in hospital, has filed an anticipatory bail petition in the principal session court in Chennai apprehending arrest in a case registered in connection with the issue.

Dhinkaran added that he was disappointed as the video should not have been out in the public domain."In March, Vetrivel requested me to give the footage, claiming he had already spoken to Chinnamma.".

Justice A D Jagadish Chandira of the Madras high court granted conditional bail to Vetrivel on Thursday.
