In an initiative to consolidate the party, Gurazala legislator Kasu Mahesh Reddy has decided to take up another round of padayatra in the constituency.

Former minister Kasu Krishna Reddy’s son and youth congress leader, Mahesh Reddy has decided to join YSRCP. Mahesh met YSRCP supremo Jaganmohan Reddy at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad on Sunday and expressed his willingness to work to strengthen the party. He would formally join the party on December, 16 with a massive rally and public meeting to be attended by Jagan.

Gurazala legislator Kasu Mahesh Reddy has said that the Andhra Pradesh government is in no way connected with the liquor seized from the TDP activists in his constituency.

In a bid to win over the people of Palnadu region, the stronghold of TDP, the opposition YSRCP is promising to construct a comprehensive drinking water project covering all the assembly segments in Narasaraopet Lok Sabha constituency. Party has also readied the designs of the project with the help of private consultants.

Gajuwaka police apprehended a former software engineer, Achhi Mahesh Reddy, for 26 house break-ins across Visakhapatnam. Recovered items include gold, silver, a BMW car, and tools. Despite his IT background, Reddy pursued a life of crime, having a history of offenses dating back to his teenage years and previous jail time. He allegedly committed over 60 burglaries.

Piduguralla town in Gurazala constituency is located 20 kilometres away from the Krishna river bank at Govindapuram village. The town is 80 kilometres away from the biggest water reservoir in the state Nagarjunasagar. Yet, it took nearly six decades for the town to get potable drinking water.

The state government has initiated a comprehensive drinking water scheme in Gurazala constituency of Palnadu district, bringing an end to the decades-long struggle.
