Akshay Kumar is set to lead 'Samuk', India's first sci-fi alien thriller directed by Kanishk Varma. The film features Hollywood stunt coordinator Luke Tumber and Oscar-nominated creature-effects artist Alec Gillis. Confirming his involvement, Akshay says, "Sci-fi alien thriller is a totally new genre for me and also for our films."

Frank Grillo is set to star in the horror-thriller 'Werewolves,' produced by Briarcliff Entertainment and The Solution Entertainment Group. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on December 6. In 'Werewolves,' a supermoon activates a dormant gene in every human, transforming anyone exposed to the moonlight into a werewolf for one night, leading to chaos and a massive death toll. The film is set a year after the initial supermoon event, with another supermoon approaching. Directed by Steven C. Miller and written by Matthew Kennedy, the film also features Katrina Law, Ilfenesh Hadera, James Michael Cummings, and Lou Diamond Phillips. Briarcliff CEO Tom Ortenberg expressed excitement about the partnership, promising a thrilling cinematic experience. Myles Nestel, co-CEO of The Solution Entertainment Group, highlighted the impressive cast and practical werewolf effects by Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr, aiming to bring a fresh yet nostalgic feel to the genre.

Comic-Con unveiled the first 15 minutes of 'Predator: Badlands,' revealing a Predator outcast, Dek, and his unlikely alliance with Thia, a synthetic android. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the film explores their quest on a remote planet to hunt an ultimate apex predator. 'Predator: Badlands' is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.
