In a heartfelt message shared after her semifinal loss, she admitted she was disappointed not to reach the final but said her view of success has changed over the years.“I’ve been thinking about what to say after this tournament. A few years ago, reaching my first Grand Slam semi-final and not making the final would have felt very different. Of course, I’m disappointed. I wanted more. But I’m also leaving Paris with a feeling I haven’t always had: appreciation for what this journey is becoming.”She continued:“For a long time, I measured everything through results. Lately, I’ve been learning to appreciate the growth behind them, the people who share this path with me, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level. This tournament reminded me how different my relationship with the game feels today. My first Grand Slam semi-final.”Kostyuk’s run in Paris was also discussed because she did not shake hands with Mirra Andreeva after their semifinal match.
