She acknowledges that her team did not start as they wanted but showed resilience and fought hard. Reflecting on her innings, she admits it wasn’t easy when she walked in to bat. She focused on rotating the strike and, with Nat Sciver-Brunt at the other end, aimed to keep things simple and take calculated risks. She feels 150 was a decent total, but in pressure games, it often feels like chasing 180. She gives full credit to the bowlers for delivering crucial breakthroughs in the Powerplay, which ultimately won them the game. She also highlights the importance of one-on-one meetings within the team to provide better clarity on individual roles

It's time for Delhi's skipper, Meg Lanning, to collect the Runner-up trophy. Meg says they had another good season but unfortunately couldn't get over the line again and despite the disappointment, Mumbai played really well and congratulates them. Adds that 150 was a good total to chase, but they didn't quite get it together in the chase but she is very proud of the team. Mentions that there is absolutely no substitute for performing well on the day and Mumbai did that and deservedly won the game. States that they haven't been able to put up strong performances in the final and they had put themselves in good positions but ended on the wrong side and that's how this game can be at times.

Earlier in the game, Delhi had Mumbai on the ropes, applying relentless pressure and choking the scoring rate, leaving Mumbai struggling at 28/2 at the end of 8 overs.
