India innings in a nutshell!
Skipper Virat Kohli played a quickfire 77-run unbeaten knock as India managed 156/6 against England in the third T20I in Ahmedabad. Put into bat after losing the toss, India once again got off to a horrendous start, losing the top order inside the powerplay overs. England pacers wreaked havoc as KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan departed cheaply inside the first six overs. Skipper Kohli and Rishabh Pant then tried to steady the Indian ship but an unfortunate run out sent Pant packing for 25. Shreyas Iyer too failed trying to accelerate scoring as regular wickets pushed India back on a tricky surface. But it was the 33-ball 70 run partnership between Kohli and Hardik Pandya that gave some life to the India innings. Kohli in the process, got to his 27th T20I fifty while Hardik (17) got out on the final ball of the innings.
20:46 (IST) Mar 16
India finish at 156/6!
OUT! Hardik goes for the big hit off the final ball of the innings but mistimes the ball. Jofra Archer runs back from mid-off and completes a good catch. Hardik's knock ends on 17. Virat Kohli remains unbeaten on 77. A 70-run partnership off just 33 balls takes India to 156/6 in 20 overs

Kohli going all guns blazing!
Two maximums in two balls for the Indian skipper. He is taking on England's fastest bowler. Mark Wood under pressure. Back-to-back sixes and what a sight this is. The first one was in the mid-wicket region and the second straight down town. Class from Kohli as India get much-needed acceleration.
