The day is celebrated to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah's command, demonstrating his unwavering devotion to Allah. This day honors the belief that despite being tempted by the devil, he was so devoted to Allah that nothing could stop him from making the sacrifice. Eid Ul Adha festival is one of the most prominent festivals celebrated by Muslims. This festival is also celebrated as Bakrid. Financially stable Muslims perform a ritual sacrifice of an animal, typically a sheep or goat, following the prayers. One part of the meat is given to the family, a second part is distributed among friends and family, and a third one is distributed among less fortunate.

Donations and Charity: Donations and charitable deeds should be done on Eid al-Adha. Muslims help people who are in need so that everyone can take part in the celebrations. This entails giving those in need cash assistance and sharing the meat from the sacrifice.

To celebrate the event, traditional delicacies are made and residences are often decorated. Wearing new clothes and getting Eidi are also essential components of the festivities.
