Unlock 4 live updates: Metros to resume from September 7 in graded manner; schools, colleges to remain shut
The govt of India on Saturday rolled out new Unlock 4 guidelines. According to the new rules, metro services will be operational from September 7, as schools and colleges will continue to remain shut. On Saturday, India recorded a recovery rate of 76.74%. Till now 26 lakh people have recuperated from Covid-19. Stay here for all updates.

New escalator installed at Chandni Chowk metro station in Kolkata
During the lockdown, Metro Railway has been executing massive maintenance and upgradation of passenger amenities works at different stations maintaining social distancing and all other Covid-19 protocols. This new escalator will be commissioned in the next week. Two more escalators will be installed at Kalighat and Jatin Das Park Metro stations very shortly.

Tripura's Covid-19 tally rises to 10,879, death toll reaches 94.
At least 443 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Tripura on Saturday, raising the state's tally to 10,879, a health department official said. The death toll rose to 94 with five more persons succumbing to the infection, he said. Tripura currently has 3,729 active Covid-19 cases. Nineteen patients have migrated to other states.
