The movie starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Wamiqa Gabbi offers laughter through situational comedy and has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. It had a good opening on Friday, but couldn’t beat the day 1 collection of its prequel ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh', starring Kartik Aaryan. The movie benefited from the post-opening weekend surge, but the weekday drop hit hard. Nevertheless, it continues to maintain a steady pace and is heading towards the Rs 40 crore mark worldwide, ahead of its second weekend.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ minted Rs 2.75 crore net in India on its 6th day post-release across 5559 shows. It is a clear drop of 21.4% drop as compared to the net collection of day 5, Tuesday, which stood at Rs 3.50 crore. This has further pushed the India gross collection of the movie to Rs 32.07 crore, while the India net collection stands at Rs 27 crore.In the overseas market, the movie collected Rs 0.60 crore on day 6, pushing the gross total to Rs 5.35 crore so far. With this, the worldwide gross collection on day 6 stands at Rs 37.42 crore.
If the movie continues to earn at the same pace, it would easily reach the Rs 40 crore mark globally before the weekend.
