Burwan Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Sukhen Kumar Bagdi wins with 22,300-vote margin
Protima Rajak (Trinamool Congress), Prosenjit Hazra (Bahujan Samaj Party), Sanjit Das (Congress), Sukhen Kumar Bagdi (Bharatiya Janata Party), Ananda Das Bagdi (Revolutionary Socialist Party), Shasthi Charan Mal (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Rakesh Bagdi (Independent), Radhikanath Bagdi (Independent), and Sunita Konai (Independent) — 9 candidates contesting from Burwan in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Burwan is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Baharampur Lok Sabha segment, with 217,500 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Jiban Krishna Saha of the Trinamool Congress won by a margin of 2,749 votes. The 2016 winner was Protima Rajak of the Congress. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Burwan in 2026.
