Sonari Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Dhormeswar Konwar wins
Utpal Gogoi (Congress), Dhormeswar Konwar (Bharatiya Janata Party), Baldev Teli (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha), and Raju Karuwa (Independent) — 4 candidates contesting from Sonari in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Sonari is a General constituency under the Jorhat Lok Sabha segment, with 178,790 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Dharmeswar Konwar of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 15,117 votes. The 2016 winner was Topon Kumar Gogoi of the BJP. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Sonari in 2026.
