Hojai Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Highlights: With 144361 votes, BJP's Shiladitya Dev wins against Jhilli Chowdhury of Congress
Jhilli Chowdhury (Congress) and Shiladitya Dev (Bharatiya Janata Party) — 2 candidates contesting from Hojai in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Hojai is a General constituency under the Nowgong Lok Sabha segment, with 221,863 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Ramkrishna Ghosh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 118,560 votes. The 2016 winner was Abdur Rahim Ajmal of the AIUDF. The 2021 turnout was 84.37%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Hojai in 2026.
