Boko–Chaygaon Assembly Election Results 2026 Highlights: AGP's Diptimayee Choudhury wins by 24,998 votes
Girish Baruah (Congress), Diptimayee Choudhury (Asom Gana Parishad), Pranita Barman (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Chakradhar Das (Independent), Rajan Gupta (Independent), and Subrata Sarkar (Independent) — 6 candidates contesting from Bongaigaon in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Bongaigaon is a General constituency under the Barpeta Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, Phani Bhusan Choudhury of the Asom Gana Parishad won the seat. Phani Bhusan Choudhury had also won in 2016. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Bongaigaon in 2026.
