Barkhetri Assembly Election Results 2026 Highlights: BJP's Narayan Deka wins by 28,844 votes
Diganta Barman (Congress), Narayan Deka (Bharatiya Janata Party), Amirul Islam (All India Trinamool Congress), and Munindra Doley (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)) — 4 candidates contesting from Barkhetri in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Barkhetri is a General constituency under the Gauhati Lok Sabha segment, with 165,065 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Diganta Barman of the Congress won by a margin of 4,054 votes. The 2016 winner was Narayan Deka of the BJP. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Barkhetri in 2026.
