Post-result academic framework: Recheck, re-evaluation and improvement cycle
Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for recheck through the CISCE Service Portal from May 1 to May 4, 2026. Candidates seeking improvement can register between May 8 and May 14, 2026. Improvement examinations will begin from June 15, 2026, with results expected in the last week of July. Students can appear in a maximum of two subjects under the revised evaluation structure.
Previous year pattern and result trend stability
CISCE has maintained a consistent result declaration timeline, with 2025 results also announced on April 30. In 2025, girls outperformed boys in both ICSE and ISC examinations. ICSE girls recorded 99.37% compared to 98.84% for boys, while in ISC, girls achieved 99.45% and boys 98.64%, continuing a steady performance trend.
