The commercial taxes department has asked the remaining traders to enrol their details under the GST regime with immediate effect. The traders who have not entered their details will face difficulties in getting the registration once the GST is rolled out from July 1.
The commercial taxes department commissioner in a statement issued here said that about 2.5 lakh traders in the state are getting enrolled under the GST in which their trade details and personal details will be recorded online. As per the orders all existing dealers under Kerala have to be migrated to the GST portal before June 15.
Once a trader is logged into the www.keralataxes.gov.in they will be given a log in ID in which they can upload the details by following the instructions. All the details should be ratified using the personal digital signature.
The commissioner said that a help desk has been set up in all the district deputy commissioner offices from where the traders can get their doubts cleared.
The department had directed all registered traders to upload their personal and trade-related details and documents on the website www.keralataxes.gov.in from January 1.
